Community Code Kata
Community Code Kata is on hold due to low attendance, but we’ve been stepping up the code retreats!
Code Kata is a term coined by Dave Thomas, co-author of the book The Pragmatic Programmer, in a bow to the Japanese concept of kata in the martial arts. A code kata is an exercise in programming which helps a programmer hone their skills through practice and repetition. Join us if you’re interested in working towards becoming the best programmer you can be.

Durham Code Retreat
Join us for Durham Code Retreat – next one will be Spring 2015
Coderetreat is a day-long, intensive practice event, focusing on the fundamentals of software development and design. By providing developers the opportunity to take part in focused practice, away from the pressures of ‘getting things done’, the coderetreat format has proven itself to be a highly effective means of skill improvement.
